How to Start Biomass Wood Briquettes in Your Commercial Business Plant?
Currently, due to the advantages of biomass briquettes are by no means limited to its use in modern industrial plants or solid fuel boilers, the increasing demand for biomass briquetting plants in the global market. Biomass briquettes are an environmentally friendly alternative to coal and charcoal. Bioenergy could be generated from various biomass feedstocks such as wood, energy crops and biomass residues from wood processing, agriculture or forestry. Therefore, making biomass briquettes from biomass agricultural waste are profitable investments that convert waste into energy. How to start your own biomass wood briquetting plant? The best way is to make a biomass briquetting plant project report, including the market analysis, biomass briquetting processes, costs and funding sources, equipment requirements, potential profits.

[Market Analysis] Setting Up a Biomass Wood Briquetting Plant for Sale
As we all know, the biomass briquetting market in each country can be divided into two markets: the local market and the overseas market, which include:
Household customers use biomass or sawdust pellets to heat their homes or workplaces such as apartments, offices, schools, and other public or commercial buildings. Annually, they will have a regular demand for pellet fuel and will store them before winter. Demand from household customers will be in the hundreds of tons per year. By the way, this number may increase as households usually increase from time to time. They think sawdust pellets are both comfortable and environmentally friendly. Industrial customers will use briquettes for their industrial needs, such as machine fuel. Using briquette is more economical than using mineral oil or natural gas, saving more than half the cost of industrial heating. This economic value can also be applied to household customers. Businesses related to sawdust briquetting production may increase. As the industry demand for heating-related materials (such as sawdust briquette) grows, so does the number of manufacturers and exporters. The main targets for sawdust briquettes are winter countries such as Europe, the US, and Canada.
Almost all kinds of the industry have great demand for fuel. However, the fuel price keeps rising year by year. Nowadays, biomass briquetting offers us a better option to reduce the cost of fuel supplements. Biomass briquettes are more economical and friendly than traditional black coal. Low cost, no chemicals, no pollution! This is why the briquetting plant is known as a BEST investment project.
ABC Machinery, a professional biomass wood briquetting plant manufacturer and supplier in China, offers not only wholesale mini wood briquette machine, small-scale wood briquette press production unit at factory price, but also help you set up customized complete biomass wood briquetting plant projects with a limited budget in UK, India, Canada, Australia etc..
Main 4 Steps Biomass Wood Briquetting Plant Production Processing Step
Stpe 1. Raw Material Collection
The raw materials of sawdust, wood shavings, and wood blocks are transported to the factory by vehicles that are covered with felt cloth, and then the raw materials are unloaded in the raw material warehouse.
Step 2. Vibrating Screening
The raw materials are transported to the conical screen by the belt conveyor for screening. The raw materials’ moisture content is high, generally 35%-45%. The closed conical screen is used, and basically, no dust is generated during the vibrating screen process.
Step 3. Drying
The moisture content of the raw material of the biomass briquette-making project is about 35%-45%. The combustion flue gas is introduced into the dryer through the fan to directly contact the material to dry them. Use biomass particles to burn and heat the furnace cavity, and ignite the heat generated by the combustion of briquette-making waste gas and carbonized waste gas, the original moisture of the raw material is reduced to 10% after drying so that the subsequent carbonization ignition point is unified.
Step 4. Briquette-making
The dried raw materials are conveyed evenly by the closed screw feeder and sent to the screw briquette-making machine. Strong friction is generated among the material, rollers, and die in the machine cavity, and a large amount of heat is generated (the moisture loss is generally 3-5%) to soften the fiber and extrude it into a viscous shape according to the required specifications. The temperature of this process is 250℃~280℃, producing certain noise and smoke.
ABC Machinery's latest GCBC series of biomass briquetting machines are designed based on a screw briquetting machine. It can convert waste of biomass material into hollow briquettes that can be used as a fuel source. The briquettes can be further carbonized into charcoal briquettes, a very popular fuel in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
